Pour la sortie de l’adaptation au cinéma du comics 2 Guns, le scénariste Steven Grant (Robocop: The Last Stand) scénarise, à la demande de l’éditeur Boom! Studio, une suite sobrement titrée 3 Guns.
Dans cette nouvelle mini-série en 6 numéros, Grant adjoint un troisième porte-flingue aux services des deux anciens agents « sans couvertures » Trench et Steadman alors qu’ils se retrouvent impliqués dans un trafic d’armes Russes à destination d’une révolution anti-gouvernemental.
