Le point culminant de la première année de Donny Cates sur la série Venom sera la saga événement Absolute Carnage, dont la publication commencera en août. Les détails n’ont pas encore été révélés mais on sait que le début aura lieu en avance dans le numéro spécial Spider-Man/Venom#1 (par Cates et Ryan Stegman) prévu pour le Free Comic Book Day.
