La série Alien Legion revient chez Titan Comics avec, aux manettes, son créateur Carl Potts, ainsi que le scénariste Chuck Dixon et le dessinateur Larry Stroman qui ont grandement contribué à la série dans les années 90. Créé dans les années 80 pour le magazine Epic (pendant Marvel de Métal Hurlant), Alien Legion est une version extra-terrestre de la Légion Étrangère racontant le quotidien de ses soldats. En 2010, Dark Horse avait déjà tenté de ressusciter le titre sans succès.

Cool…j’ai lu l’intégralité Epic/Marvel en début d’année et c’était vachement bon : de l’excellente SF guerrière qui tire bien parti de toutes les possibilités qu’offre son concept. De l’action à gogo, une passionnante galerie de personnages très bien caractérisés (et ce côté « chair à canon » qu’on envoie sur tous les fronts réserve pas mal de surprises) et des histoires de qualité, bien construites autour de thèmes forts (réinsertion, écologie, politique, corruption…).
Je me chercherai le titre Dark Horse quand j’en aurai l’occasion avant d’embrayer sur les Titan Comics…
