Efficace. Joe Kelly reprend bien pied dans sa série et dans ses subplots, en montrant Peter entamer sa ronde des excuses et des SMS auprès de ses proches, qu’il a délaissés ces derniers mois. Il s’entraîne également avec Daredevil, pour s’améliorer pour le prochain round face à Hellgate, avec des pistes de Matt pour intensifier son sens d’araignée. Peter échange aussi avec ses alliés spatiaux, qui découvrent la Terre, ainsi que Robbie Robertson, à qui il confie sa culpabilité des morts provoqués par Torment pour l’atteindre. Alors que le mystérieux cousin vient rencontrer Tante May, Peter retrouve son ami Brian, définitivement transformé par les champignons, et qui a pris le contrôle de plusieurs personnes. Il est désormais Spore, et il obtient des vérités de Peter alors que son corps se transforme…
C’est efficace, oui. Je demeure un peu usé par les régulières excuses présentées par Peter à ses proches, mais l’approche ici demeure efficace et fluide. Le nouveau super-vilain est basique mais efficace, et je suis prudent sur le cousin. Par contre, les dessins de Pete Woods sont superbes : très entraînants, très dynamiques, très travaillés, c’est épatant !
Un super graphisme pour une histoire simple mais efficace.

Non l’approche de Rivera ressemble un peu à ce que pouvait faire Isanove sur les couv’ Ultimate à l’époque. J’aime bien Rivera, mais là il ne peut pas faire de miracle, à moins de refaire le dessin de JrJr.
