En juin, American Vampire aura droit à une deuxième mini-série : Lord of Nightmares par Scott Snyder et Dustin Nguyen.

Après Survival of the fittest, Scott Snyder continue d’étendre son univers vampirique puisqu’en juin paraître une deuxième mini-série : Lord of Nightmares, dessinée par Dustin Nguyen (Batman: Streets of Gotham).
La mini se passera 15 ans après Survival of the fittest et se concentrera sur Felicia Book, Linden Hobbes, chef des vassaux de l’étoile du matin (traduction non officielle de Vassals of the Morning Star) et Gus, le bébé infecté par le vampirisme (mais peut-être en voie de guérison à la fin de Survival of the Fittest) de Cash McCogan.
Felicia a quitté son agence de lutte contre les vampires et est partie vivre dans la clandestinité à Paris avec Gus, mais un événement terrfiant va la forcer à choisir si elle doit ou nom revenir pour lutter aux côtés de Hobbes.

Si le dessin tient bien la route, c’ est un peu moins réussi niveau scénar, avec l’arrivée (éclair) de Dracula (si, si!). Bon, on n’a pas le temps de s’ennuyer, et, avec un bon score, ça reste très fréquentable, mais faudrait voir à pas trop se perdre en route hein chez Vertigo!
