ARCHER & ARMSTRONG #0-25 (Fred Van Lente / Clayton Henry)

« In « Hercules, » you had a lot of flashbacks – we called them « Mythbacks » – to Herc’s time in the mythic era. What’s going to be fun about « Archer & Armstrong » is we’re going to be doing something similar to that, but we’re going to have 10,000 years of history to choose from. Armstrong is one of the oldest surviving people from this great cataclysm that happened in prehistoric times interpreted by some as the great flood but we’ll see there may actually be something else going on there. He’s done and seen everyone and everything. It’ll be fun to constantly flash back to that. In that way, they’re very similar. Amadeus Cho, Hercules’ sidekick, and Archer are very different in the sense that Amadeus was very cynical, wiseass and even more irresponsible than Hercules was. »

EVERY ENEMY. AGAINST EACH OTHER.

SECT CIVIL WAR.

FRED VAN LENTE. KHARI EVANS.

OCTOBER 2013.
Now don’t expect Archer and Armstrong to just sit back and watch all of their enemies fighting amongst themselves… well, maybe Armstrong will for a bit, but Archer will be worried about who comes out on top. Regardless, in the second major war in the Valiant Universe this year alone, we should expect the zany antics of our heroes to be tempered by the horrors of - no wait, it’ll still be zany.
Khari Evans, en plus. Pas mal.
