Rencontre entre deux pointures de l’horreur pop-corn chez Dynamite avec la publication en novembre d’une nouvelle maxi-série Army of Darkness (en 8 numéros) inspirée de l’œuvre du cinéaste Sam Raimi (Evil Dead) par Steve Niles (30 Days of Night).
L’histoire voit Ash retourner en l’an 1300 pour réparer le continuum temps modifié par les évènements du dernier film de la saga. Pour l’occasion, Niles retrouve le dessinateur Dennis Calero avec lequel il a réalisé un comics 28 jours plus tard pour le compte de l’éditeur IDW.
