Je me suis bien amusé avec le premier TPB de cette série. Le dernier travail de Jeff Parker pour Marvel, c’est-à-dire la série Red She-Hulk, m’avait bien déçu. Confus et exploitant ad nauseam le concept des mondes parallèles…
En changeant de crèmerie, le scénariste retrouve une vraie maîtrise du divertissement. Il met en scène des aventures bondissantes, pleines de bonne humeur, d’action pétaradante et dialoguées de façon irrésistible dans la grande tradition de la série (Holy alliteration, Batman !). Les dessins participent au côté chatoyant de l’entreprise (une belle brochette d’artistes d’ailleurs, de Jonathan Case, que je découvre, à l’expressive et énergique Colleen Coover - qui croquent chacun leur Catwoman préférée, j’ai l’impression - en passant par le toujours excellent Ty Templeton).
Bref, j’en redemande…

La série me fait de l’œil depuis un petit bout de temps, et ce que tu en dis me confirme dans mon impression positive…
