Voici une série qui reste relativement peu touchée par l’évènement Rebirth.

Batman Beyond sera relancé en octobre par l’équipe créative en place : le scénariste Dan Jurgens et le dessinateur Bernard Chang.

Le véritablement changement marque le retour du Batman du futur original, le jeune Terry McGinnis, alors que c’était Tim Drake (Detective Comics) qui assurait le rôle depuis les évènements de New 52 : Futures End.

Batman Beyond est un mensuel.

J’avais lu le Rebirth et les 9 premiers… avant d’abandonner.
C’est long, c’est lent, c’est décompressé, et c’est d’une tristesse sans nom. Il n’y a aucune originalité, aucune fougue, on passe un temps infini à voir les choses se mettre en place, alors qu’elles se voient de si loin… Jurgens ne gère pas le Futur, il n’apporte aucune innovation, hormis un juron répété constamment.
C’est lourd, et c’est surtout trop lent. Le redesign étant, en plus, laid, et le principe de l’armure vivante et dangereuse étant tellement vu, j’ai lâché avec soulagement.
