Oui car après la facilité et la tentation de donné une identité au Joker sera encore plus forte et je pense qu’ils le feront. Je trouve que c’est comme Wolverine, le fait de ne pas savoir, rajoute du charme au personnage et franchement il n’en a pas besoin.

Magnifique ! 
Sean Gordon Murphy, dessinateur-star notamment pour Joe, l’aventure intérieure ou Punk Rock Jesus, lance son BATMAN: WHITE KNIGHT #1, qui impressionne déjà.
Avec un principe simple (le Joker devient sain d’esprit et décide de dresser Gotham contre un Batman devenu aussi ultra-violent, sadique et cruel que celui de Ben Affleck dans le film Batman V Superman), Murphy commence via une scène d’action intense et brutale, mais qui vaut surtout pour ses dialogues. Grâce au Joker, Murphy monte un argumentaire à charge sur Batman et son rapport à la ville, à la criminalité, et si les réflexions ainsi amenées ont déjà été dites, leur rendu fonctionne ici très bien.
La transition entre la folie puis l’esprit sain du Joker est, certes, un peu rapide et facile, mais le dynamisme qui s’échappe du scénario et la folie qui implose chez Batman (avec une justification, déjà-vue mais efficace) fonctionnent.
Surtout, le final intéresse, intrigue et donne envie de lire la suite ; ça se tient, c’est pertinent et, avant tout, ça démontre l’existence d’une idée, d’un scénario qui ne sert pas juste les sublimes dessins de Murphy, qui livre encore des planches d’anthologie.
Intriguant, surprenant, dynamique, magnifique, brutal et enragé, Batman : White Knight démarre très bien.
Je suis très curieux du reste, surtout que Murphy démontre que, au-delà de son talent graphique, son côté scénariste a des choses à dire même sur des idoles autant usitées que Batman et le Joker (Punk Rock Jesus avait déjà prouvé la pertinence et la richesse de ses idées, mais la transition sur des personnages si connus peut mal se faire ; heureusement, non).

Huit à l’origine. C’est possible que Murphy en ait rajouté un neuvième suite au succès remporté par le titre.
Et Murphy a annoncé que c’est une trilogie en Belgique il me semble
Au début il voulait en France mais il a pensé que personne, pas même aux States, ne croirait à une telle société antipathique. 
Et puis un pays de frite et de bière, c’est accueillant tout de même ?
