Assez lourd à la lecture, un peu rébarbatif.
Eve L. Ewing, qui ne m’a jamais emballé jusque-là, livre un épisode trop bavard. On comprend que le run de John Ridley a abouti à un exil de T’Challa, rejeté par son pays en pleine transition démocratique après la révélation de ses manipulations. Mais T’Challa n’a pas tenu, il est revenu et erre dans une ville éloignée de la capitale, celle de son père, où il joue à une sorte de Batman pour protéger les gens de voleurs ou arnaqueurs, comme d’anciens Hatut Heraze qui vendent une « protection ». Il suit notamment un type gentil, qui essaye d’aider, et veut son « avis » pour se réintégrer au pays, alors que des complots se trament avec un Deathlok.
Gros bof. D’une part, Eve L. Ewing ne m’intéresse pas trop avec ce côté Batman assumé qui ne me semble pas pertinent et se révèle. Lourd, d’ailleurs, comme la narration, avec une voix-off rébarbative et très soulante.
D’autant que le graphisme de Chris Allen est efficace mais ne brille pas et ne passionne pas.

Je m’arrête là, bien usé par cette lecture.
