Gros bof. Erica Schultz poursuit la (très faible) première aventure du nouveau groupe de chasseurs de vampires vue dans l’anthologie Blood Hunters, avec une série du même nom. On retrouve Dagger, Elsa Bloodstone, White Widow et Hallow’s Eye qui chassent les Vampires restants après Blood Hunt, tandis que les sbires de Blade (les Supers Vampires vite évacués dans la saga) tentent de se remettre et d’avancer. Bon, l’équipe de super-héroïnes galèrent aussi, elles croisent finalement Miles Morales désormais Vampire et perturbé. Dagger n’arrive pas à le soigner, et Elsa veut le tuer.
Gros bof, oui. Erica Schultz ne m’a pas passionné dans l’anthologie, et n’y arrive pas ici. J’apprécie l’essentiel du casting (sauf Hallow’s Eve, au principe et aux pouvoirs faibles en intérêt), mais ça prend difficilement. C’est assez long, chiant et poussif. Robert Gill illustre ça avec sérieux, mais sans folie et sans marquer.
Je n’irais pas plus loin, sans remords.
