Chaque personnage de La Guerre des Étoiles aura droit à sa propre mini-série si Marvel a son mot à dire. Après la Princesse Leïa et Lando Calrissian, c’est au tour du Wookie Chewbacca, Contrebandier, accessoirement « grosse carpette ambulante », pilote du Faucon Millenium et, surtout, fidèle partenaire de Han Solo, de voguer en solo dans son propre titre. Piégé sur une planète occupée par plusieurs forces en guerre - dont l’Empire - Chewie s’engage aux cotés des autochtones pour faire ce qui est juste.
Au manettes, l’éditeur place l’un des scénaristes les plus talentueux du moment: Gerry Duggan. L’homme s’est fait connaitre grâce sa reprise saluée par la critique de Deadpool avec son ami Brian Posehn en 2012. Il a travaillé depuis sur Nova, Hulk, 1872 et supervise la relance de Uncanny Avengers.
Quant à la partie graphique, elle sera assurée par l’artiste Phil Noto qui sort tout juste d’un run de plus d’un an sur Black Widow.

Dommage pour Noto : ça signifie qu’il ne dessinera plus « Black Widow » (et peut-être qu’il n’y aura plus de série avec la Veuve), ça me désole un peu de voir des artistes que j’aime bien sur des titres « Star Wars » vu que j’en ai vraiment rien à battre de cet univers.
