Cold Spots s’intéressera à Dan Kerr, un homme qui a tout plaqué, abandonnant sa femme et son enfant à naître. Quelques années plus tard, Kerr décide de partir à leur recherche lorsqu’il apprend leur disparition. Il découvre alors qu’à chaque fois qu’il se rapproche de l’endroit où se trouve sa fille, la température se met à chuter…et des fantômes se manifestent…
