DARTH VADER #1-44 (Greg Pak / Raffaele Ienco)

Pendant le panel Lucasfilm Publishing du New York Comic Con , Marvel a révélé les équipes créatives de la prochaine relance des séries Star Wars . Ces nouveaux titres exploreront la période qui débute juste après L’Empire contre-attaque .

Et après Star Wars en janvier 2020, ce sera au tour de Dark Vador en février. La troisième série du Seigneur Noir des Sith sera scénarisée par Greg Pak (Star Wars : Age of Rebellion, Star Wars) et dessinée par Raffaele Ienco (Epic Kill, Mechanism…).

Ho la bonne idée que de faire cette scène.

La mise en scène est très belle, mais je me demande du coup si Greg Pak a lu le run de Gillen… Qui avait déjà vu Vador revenir sur Tatooine voir le lieu où Luke avait grandit (en faisant semblant d’y voir peu d’intérêt face à Aphra).
Là ça peut avoir du sens vu qu’il vient de se confronter à Luke mais ça fait un peu redite quand même.

Bon, pas mal.
Je suis moins enthousiaste que Xavier Fournier dans sa chronique sur Comic Box, mais Greg Pak livre un bon épisode, avec un bon Darth Vader bien fâché et crispé. Il « tient » bien le personnage, le robot compagnon est cool, et l’ensemble est bon et agréable. J’ai un peu de mal avec Raffaele Ienco, car je ne suis pas fan de son trait et je trouve ses postures figées, mais ça fonctionne.
Je ne suis pas « bluffé » par le final, mais la lecture est bonne et Vader est bien écrit. C’est cool.

Faut dire qu’il a la chance de passer après Charles Soule. On pouvait pas faire plus à coté de la plaque (et bavard, bordel !).

Moi c’est tout le contraire;je ne l’avais pas vu venir…
Celà dit,ça va surement être de l’esbrouffe…

C’est Jar-Jar à la fin?
