Dans le cadre de sa campagne de publicité pour l’ère Marvel Now, l’éditeur Marvel dévoile au compte-goutte des teasers des prochaines séries à voir le jour à l’issue du dénouement du crossover Avengers versus X-men.
Un nouveau teaser avec la mention chimichangas semble indiquer un prochain relaunch de la série Deadpool, accompagné des noms du comédien Brian Posehn (The last Christmas), du scénariste Gerry Duggan (The infinite horizon) et du dessinateur Tony Moore (Venom, Punisher). Poshen et Duggan ont précédemment collaboré ensemble à l’écriture du comic book The last Christmas paru en 2006 chez l’éditeur Image comics.
Teasé par un Chimichangas, Deadpool revient bel et bien sous la bannière** NOW !** avec une superbe couverture ! Brian POSEHN, Gerry DUGGAN (deux inconnus pour moi) et l’excellent Tony MOORE seront à la barre ! Bref, Deadpool m’intéresse à nouveau là
A voir, je ne connais pas non plus les deux scénaristes. J’aimais bien Daniel Way sur Deadpool ([size=85]alors que j’accrochais pas trop à son loooooooong run sur Wolverine:origins/Daken[/size]).
Pour Tony Moore, ça me plait bien aussi, mais je crains que comme à chaque fois il ne reste que pour une poignée de numéros.

Marvel has announced my jumping in as tag-team artist on Deadpool with my good friend Tony Moore. They announced it with style! Just look at the above teaser image from Arthur Adams! Seriously, I remember reading Mr. Adam’s comics as a kid and WISHING I could draw like him, so having him do covers for this is just tickling me silly.
Anyway, I can’t show any pages just yet but I can shared some pages from my sketchbook. As you can imagine, a lot of sketching and figuring out goes into beginning any new project - and Deadpool was no exception. Here are a few pages of sketches that went into figuring out my approach to the character.
I’m having a silly amount of fun on this series! Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn have been a great team to work with. They are writing the hell out of this series and, along with our editor Jordan White, are trusting me to do my thing. Which I love.
