Marvel publiera à partir de juin 2018 une nouvelle mini-série Deadpool intitulée Assassin, dans laquelle le Mercenaire Disert sera à nouveau réuni avec son vieux complice La Fouine pour une aventure bondissante et sanglante remplie d’assassins en tout genre (Ninjas ! Robots ! La Guilde des Assassins !).
Cette mini-série en 6 épisodes est scénarisée par Cullen Bunn, un habitué du personnage (Deadpool Killustrated, Deadpool & The Mercs for Money, Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe…), et dessinée par le vétéran Mark Bagley.
