Décidément, depuis la fin de son contrat d’exclusivité chez DC, le scénariste Jeff Lemire n’en finit plus d’annoncer des projets chez divers éditeurs. Après Black Hammer (chez Dark Horse) et The Valiant (chez valiant), il collaborera avec le dessinateur Dustin Nguyen sur Descender chez Image.
Cette nouvelle série de science-fiction raconte l’histoire du jeune TIM-21, l’unique robot d’une planète qui pourchasse toutes les formes de technologies depuis une mystérieuse techno-catastrophe.
Le premier numéro sortira dans le courant de l’année 2015.
J’ai l’impression que depuis qu’il a acquis une certaine notoriété, il ouvre ses placards, Lemire !
Bon, le dessinateur ne va pas plaire à Jim, mais un robot luddite, ça ouvre de sacrées perspectives !

Ça, je pense que ce va être top priorité sur ma shopping list. J’aime beaucoup Lemire ( dans le domaine de la SF, son TRILLIUM m’a fait une bonne impression, bien que je n’ai pas accroché à la fin) et je suis total fan de Nguyen depuis ses WILDCATS VERSION 3.0.
