Changement d’équipe créative pour Detective Comics à partir du #1062.
Ram V (Venom, Catwoman…) sera le scénariste de l’histoire principale, avec Rafael Albuquerque (American Vampire) aux dessins pour le premier arc narratif (Ivan Reis sera ensuite de retour au #1066).
Et pour la back-up, c’est Simon Spurrier qui s’y colle, avec Dani (Arkham City : The Order of the World) à la partie graphique.

Même si je n’ai rien contre Mariko Tamaki, je suis heureux de choix car les derniers épisodes (et le dernier crossover notamment) sont bien médiocres.
Plus que les premiers??? Avec l homme d affaires qui tient tete physiquement a batman, tire au bazook sur le commissariat… j en passe…

Je ne suis pas emballé.
Ram V lance une nouvelle saga sans m’épater, avec une nouvelle menace aristocratique secrète, mystérieuse et dangereuse, qui rappelle furieusement la Cour des Hiboux, quand même. Il emballe ça dans un numéro où l’essentiel se concentre sur une bagarre lourde où Batman galère, où Talia vient l’avertir que quelque chose arrive, et où Bruce en vient à douter de ses forces, de son âge. Moui. Ce n’est pas le final où une vision de chauve-souris géante lui susurre le nom de Barbatos qui va plus m’exciter.
D’autant que Rafael Albuquerque ne me convainc pas non plus, ses ambiances sont tops mais son Batman est figé, crispé, et « pas beau ». Bof, bof.
Je ne serais pas de la suite, et j’en suis fort déçu.

Je m’attendais à mieux aussi, je dois dire.
C’est un premier épisode, certes, mais je trouve que Ram V se perd un peu. Et le Barbatos à la fin, ouais.
Là, où je suis déçu, c’est l’évolution de Rafael Albuquerque depuis cinq-six ans. Elle ne va pas dans le bon sens. C’est trop brouillon à mon goût. Niveau finesse, c’est pas gagné également…
