Suite au succès de « Harvey Pekar’s Cleveland », le responsable éditorial Josh Frankel relance Zip Comics sous le titre Z2 avec deux nouveaux projets: une réédition de Escapo de l’artiste Paul Pope (Battling Boy), et la publication du Web-Comics Billy Dogma de Dean Haspiel (The Fox).
Introuvable à un prix raisonnable depuis 1999, cette nouvelle version de Escapo sera agrémentée de couleurs, contrairement au Noir & Blanc original. L’histoire suit le plus grand des artistes de l’évasion, capable d’échapper à toutes les situations… Même à la mort !?!
