The Next Batman est ultra-classique dans son approche, et c’est quand même dommage que DC ait révélé son identité vu le « jeu » que John Ridley instaure ici. C’est sobre et efficace, avec un Nick Derington appliqué.
Grosse bonne surprise avec Outsiders de Brandon Thomas, qui gère bien ses personnages, et surtout Sumit Kamir, aux dessins et compositions magnifiques. Cette double-page de combat, miam.
Enfin, Paul Jenkins est un rien trop bavard dans Arkham Knights, mais il a la politesse de présenter en détail la gestion de la ville par le Magistrate. Jackson Herbert livre des planches solides.
Zéro prise de risque, mais de l’efficace. Bien.
J’aime vraiment beaucoup Nick Derington. Là, il est parfait.
Je te rejoins sur ton avis éclairé. C’est très solide (pour Batman), c’est vraiment cool de lire Katana (et les dessins sont très agréables aussi, c’est vrai) et les écrits de Paul Jenkins ne sont pas très fluides (mais ça m’a fait plaisir de revoir Astrid sur le principe).
J’ai passé un très bon moment même si DC a gâché la surprise sur l’identité du « Batou d’à côté ». En effet, le récit aurait gagné en mystère sur l’identité du porteur de la chauve-souris. Bien vu, Ben.
