This July, the King of the Monsters faces the combined might of the entire Marvel Universe in ‹ Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe, › a five-part event by writer Gerry Duggan and artist Javier Garrón.
Thanks to an exciting partnership between Marvel Comics and Toho International, the Japanese studio’s U.S.-based subsidiary that has brought global sensation Godzilla to life, Godzilla made its roaring return to the Marvel Universe earlier this year! Following a series of history-spanning one-shots where Godzilla battled various Marvel heroes, the epic showdown fans have been waiting for arrives this July in GODZILLA DESTROYS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE .
Announced earlier today at The Wrap , GODZILLA DESTROYS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE will be a five-issue event series written by superstar writer Gerry Duggan and drawn by acclaimed artist Javier Garrón. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, it’s all hands on deck as Godzilla is pitted against the combined might of the entire Marvel Universe!
Starring a cast of iconic Marvel heroes—and villains—and packed with shocking moments like a faceoff between the ageless Kaiju and an ancient Celestial, a horrifying symbiote bonding to the King of the Monsters, and a ground-shaking battle between the Hulk and Godzilla, it’s an explosive saga that will go down in pop culture history!
