Voici une annonce surprenante et pourtant, somme toute, évidente.

Les jeunes prodiges de la série indépendantes Lumberjanes (dont le premier tome est paru chez Urban en février) feront équipe avec les jeunes louveteaux de la série Gotham Academy (ou est-ce l’inverse ?) lors d’une mini-série écrite par Chynna Clugston-Flores et illustrée par Rosemary Valero-O’Connell (déjà à l’œuvre sur le numéro spécial Lumberjanes Beyond Belief).

Si cette rencontre marque le premier crossover de l’éditeur Boom ! Studios, il en va d’une toute autre paire de manches pour DC Comics qui a proposé les mini-séries Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes, Star Trek/Green Lantern : The Spectrum War et Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles en partenariat avec l’éditeur IDW Publishing entre 2013 et 2016.

Le premier numéro de Gotham Academy/Lumberjanes devrait paraitre cet été chez Boom ! Studios.
