Depuis trois épisodes, la série accueille une back-up écrite par Paul Dini et dessinée par l’excellent et trop rare Bret Blevins (cantonné à quelques pages ici ou là voire à du storyboard). Ce dernier, merveilleux dessinateur complètement mésestimé, exécute un exercice de style incroyable en se fondant dans l’esthétique Batman TAS (exploit qu’il avait déjà réalisé dans le passé, si ma mémoire est bonne) tout en dégageant sa patte personnelle. Le résultat est formidable, sans doute l’un des sommets de la série actuelle.

Dommage que Blevins se fasse rare (comme Zeck), j’ai toujours été très client de son style.
Il y a quelques années de cela, il avait commencé à travailler sur une série alléchante avec Remender, un projet malheureusement tombé à l’eau.

Oui, mais ça, c’est dans son style habituel. Il me semble qu’il a fait pas mal d’épisodes dans cette période.
Mais là, dans cette back-up il dessine « à la Bruce Timm », et c’est super. Et je crois qu’il a fait ça dans une série « animated » quelconque. Il a fait du Superman Adventures, c’est sûr (notamment avec la super-vilaine électrique), mais je crois me souvenir qu’il avait fait du Batman Adventures aussi. Mais du coup, j’ai un doute.

Les scénaristes Jimmy Palmiotti et Amanda Conner et le dessinateur John Timms ont annoncé leur départ de la série Harley Quinn au #34.

Leurs remplacants seront Frank Tieri au scénario et Inaki Miranda (Ragman) aux dessins.

A mon avis c’est une mauvaise nouvelle pour la série.

Son épisode récent n’est pas mauvais, à Tieri.
