Je ne vois pas l’ambition de la série, le moteur du personnage et ce que pourquoi Jace veut devenir un « Batman ».

Ca va dériver vers New York et s’échouer tranquillement.

Tranquillement mais sûrement…

Il fera mieux que le Titanic

Oui, c’est une débâcle complète.
Et je pense que DC le dit en creux, en délocalisant Jace à New York alors qu’il pourrait « briller » à Gotham en l’absence de Bruce, dit absent dans les premiers numéros de Williamson.

Maintenant, à la différence de Green Lantern (qui trouve une plutôt bonne raison de mettre Jo en avant) et Superman (avec là aussi une explication assez convaincante, au moins sur le papier, pour placer Jon en avant), le Batman de Jace a toujours été « une anomalie » dans un monde où Bruce Wayne demeure présent.
Ca ne pouvait pas coller en l’état.

Croire en Bendis? J’y croirais encore un peu.
Croire en John Ridley? Non. J’arrête les frais.

Pourquoi ne pas lui avoir donné l’opportunité d’un Black Label, un gros one-shot avec une histoire qu’il aurait pu porter.
Pourquoi inviter un tel talent à produire de la merde?

Peu d’inspiration, peu de liberté créative et éditoriale (Fear State, 5G, etc…).

Baissez les rideaux.
