C’est lui qui m’a fait aimer les comics dit adulte. Repose en paix et j’espère que tu as pas souffert.
Je ne sais pas précisément ce qu’il avait, mais je viens de lire qu’il était malade et qu’il avait arrêté de boire. Il avait aussi perdu beaucoup de poids.
Son décès est peut-être lié, mais on ne connaît pas les détails.

It could have been the end of any one of a thousand nights. It’s not a bad last memory to have. Steve was best man at my wedding and my good and dear friend. I think he probably taught me more about what that word means than anyone else.
I drank with Steve Dillon from Dublin to Belfast, from London to Glasgow, from San Francisco to New York City. I have not one single complaint.

Je n’ai vu que la fin de l’hommage en allumant la téloche de l’hôtel, et si je ne sais pas si ce sont des coutumiers du fait, mais il y a eu un hommage à Dillon dans le Grand Journal !

Apparemment, son décès serait dû à une appendicite (qu’il aurait tout d’abord prise pour une intoxication alimentaire).

Il a écrit un ouvrage (voire plusieurs) consacré à l’histoire de Pif. Je le lui avais acheté à la Fête de l’Huma en 2004, il m’a signé une dédicace très chouette. C’était un moment très agréable, une chouette rencontre avec un passionné qui n’était pas avare de commentaires. Du pur extrait de passion.

Superdupont, Pervers Pépère et autres ont perdu leur papa. Gotlib est décédé aujourd’hui. Les vécés sont définitivement fermées de l’intérieur, bloquées par les rubliques à brac et les dingodossiers !
Une partie de ma jeunesse qui s’envole.
Un véritable génie, trop peu cité je trouve ces dernières années alors qu’il était un maître absolu dans son domaine.
