J’apprécie toujours autant cette série, j’avais beaucoup aimé le run de Jeff Lemire sur Superboy ; et là, dans un autre registre certes, il fait tout autant merveille.

Un numéro #0 de toute beauté. Lee Garbett m’a littéralement enchanté en reprise en sous oeuvre. Sa Zatana est une sexy-bomb, son John le jeune mahou de ces dames…et Jeff Lemire nous présente aussi le grand vilain de son histoire. Tout ça, en ne ralentissant pas le rythme de son arc.
Sacrée série!

Une double ration de JL Dark, j’en redemande. A l’occasion du numéro 13 et de l’annual, Jeff Lemire a l’occasion de conclure son premier story act à la manière d’un Russel T Davies à la grande époque de Doctor Who!!!
J’ai presque envie de dire que tout est fantastique. Le scénario est bien ficelé (le numéro 0 vend la mèche du big guy mais bon), tout monde en puissance jusqu’au grand final. Oui, c’est passionnant, c’est riche de reliques et d’astuces (allez, il a beaucoup joué avec Orchid mais bon…). J’aime aussi la manière dont Lemire joue avec l’univers Dark avec en guest-stars Amthyst, Bennett et Franky (à la manière de Davies, je vous dis) voire Merlin.
Mike Janel porte la partie graphique a lui seul depuis le début de la série (à quelques numéros, je le concède). Je n’étais pourtant pas fan du bonhomme mais il mérite un grand respect.
Vivement la suite. Comme toujours.
Ray Fawkes viendra prêter main forte à Jeff Lemire en tant que co-scénariste sur la série à partir du 15ème épisode.
Y-a-t-il une chance de pouvoir le lire en VF ?

Et il faut continuer de la répéter. JLDark, c’est de la bombe!
j’ai lu le premier tpb,et j’ai trouvé ça plutôt anodin et creux.

Jeff Lemire reprend la destinée de la JLD (juste après le crossover avec I Vampire) et c’est que du bonheur. Je te conseille vraiment de le prendre.
