Warner Bros. Home Entertainment a fixé au 19 mai la sortie en DVD/Blu-Ray de Justice League Dark : Apokolips War, le nouveau long métrage d’animation qui se déroule dans la continuité établie depuis Justice League War en 2014.

Au casting vocal, on retrouve les habitués comme Jerry O’Connell (Superman), Taissa Farmiga (Raven), Jason O’Mara (Batman), Rosario Dawson (Wonder Woman) ou encore Matt Ryan (Constantine).

Culminating a six-year journey that began with the release of Justice League War in 2014, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War finds Earth decimated after intergalactic tyrant Darkseid has devastated the Justice League in a poorly executed war by the DC Super Heroes. Now the remaining bastions of good – the Justice League, Teen Titans, Suicide Squad and assorted others – must regroup, strategize and take the war to Darkseid in order to save the planet and its surviving inhabitants. This is truly the war to end all wars, and only the victor will live to enjoy the spoils.

Je l’ai visionné hier sur Toonami.

Cette histoire vient clore la période « Flashpoint » de manière satisfaisante, si j’ose un peu. C’est une sorte de crossover dans la Justice League Dark et la Darkseid War de Geoff Johns et Jason Fabok. On y retrouve le Batman sur la chaise Moebius, des membres de la JL transformés par Darkseid, etc…

Comme chant du signe de la période, DC crée une sorte d’énorme équipe entre les Titans, la JL et l’Escadron suicide. Forcément, ça finit en boucherie!!

J’aime bien le Constantine et notamment le Constantine amoureux de Zee (une belle période la JLD par Lemire).

Les animations ne sont pas toujours exceptionnelles. Les traits manquent parfois d’élégance.

Mais bon…
