A l’instar de 4001 A.D., l’éditeur Valiant Entertainement publiera un certain nombre de « one-shots » pour accompagner la mini-série « évènement » Divinity III : Stalinverse.
Si l’on en croit le court résumé de la série, l’histoire présente une société mondiale qui a été fondamentalement réécrite par une surhumaine. Dans ce nouveau monde, l’U.R.S.S. et le régime communiste prévalent sur le reste des nations.
Chacun des quatre numéros spéciaux se concentrera sur un héros de l’univers Valiant révisé à la sauce coco. Le premier à passer par cette russe-vision n’est autre que Bloodshot avec le one-shot Komandar Bloodshot.
Qui dit Bloodshot dit Jeff Lemire. Le scénariste qui travaille depuis maintenant plus de deux ans sur la série Bloodshot Reborn et qui lancera bientôt la mini-série Bloodshot U.S.A collabore pour l’occasion avec le dessinateur Clayton Crain (Rai).
Komandar Bloodshot sort en décembre. Les couvertures alternatives sont signées Ryan Bondenheim, Greg Smallwood, Kano et Trevor Hairsine :
