Soyons honnêtes : je n’ai survolé cet épisode que parce que j’ai vu que le #8 aura Black Knight dedans, et je me suis demandé si on ne le voyait pas déjà ici.
Et oui ! Enfin… oui et non. On voit bien Black Knight, mais ce n’est pas Dane : c’est Jackie, sa fille ! Si Spurrier reprend sa création et va sûrement poursuivre le travail entamé sur le one-shot Death of Doctor Strange : X-Men/Black Knight. Qui finissait sur la révélation que les X-Men « savent » que Jackie est Mutante, mais ne le lui disent pas encore… sans qu’on connaisse ses pouvoirs.
Ici, le numéro montre le trouble de Diablo qui se découvre des cornes, qui reviennent même en cas de résurrection. On voit Jackie chez Worthington, avec un Warren aussi transformé. Clairement, j’ai survolé l’essentiel car je ne suis pas passionné par ce que fait Si Spurrier chez les Mutants, mais… les cornes sont cocasses, et Jackie est bien écrite, avec surtout de jolis dessins de Netho Diaz, même si je n’aime pas ce costume de Black Knight (surtout le casque et la grille).
Bref, le fan de Black Knight est content, et c’est déjà bien !

DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR!

Bad news: Angel’s not the only mutant turning into a monster. And NIGHTCRAWLER’s inner, savage beast threatens to completely take control.

Oui, msieur ! J’ai déjà lu le précédent pour cette raison. 
Purée, c’est poussif.
Concernant la saga elle-même délivrée par Simon Spurrier, l’auteur me semble maladroit dans son approche d’un complot magique pour transformer les Mutants, qui mène à Margali Szardos, mère adoptive de Kurt qu’on découvre en cliffhanger. Tout ça pour ça, hein, avec cependant un bon segment de visite mentale d’une Blindfold décédée à Charles Xavier, pour le pousser à retourner voir son fils.
Mais entretemps… c’est poussif, et lourd. Le scénariste prend cependant du temps pour traiter Jacqs Chopra, fille de Dane Whitman et Black Knight elle aussi. On apprend enfin son pouvoir mutant… et c’est naze, en fait. Jacqs a le pouvoir d’activer les pouvoirs mutants latents autour d’elle, en tout cas de ceux qui la touchent ; et ça dure une heure, sans plus. C’est pas top, hein, et je ne sais pas ce que Spurrier veut ou peut en faire.
En dehors de ça, Netho Diaz fait ce qu’il peut mais ne peut pas grand-chose pour illustrer ça. Ce n’est pas loupé, mais ce n’est jamais réussi, et c’est très faible.
Je suis content de revoir Jacqs, mais lui donner un tel pouvoir… c’est quand même naze.
