Mad Cave Studios is proud to announce The Liquidator —a new historical speculative fiction series that’s less about the mechanics of time travel and more about the scars it leaves behind.
Written by Peter Milligan (Enigma, X-Statix, Britannia) with art by Piotr Kowalski (Where Monsters Lie, Bloodborne), the series follows Aubrey Street, a time traveling fixer sent to erase a proto feminist classic from 1891 before it can alter history. But the deeper she gets, the more she questions the orders—and the people—she serves.
The Liquidator a gothic, feminist, and character driven. Issue #1 hits shelves November 12, 2025 (FOC October 20).
“If you’ve read my stories, you’ll know they’re populated by their fair share of the messed up, the troubled, and the sick at heart,” said writer Peter Milligan in a press release from Mad Cave Studios. “In Liquidator, these damaged fools find a home. To be a ‘Liquidator’ is to travel through time. And that messes you up. So maybe it helps to be a little messed up to begin with. I hope the reader will get as big a kick as I have, following our broken-down heroes navigate time’s many idiosyncrasies.”
