En 2019, Marvel fêtera son 80ème anniversaire. Parmi les nombreux titres prévus pour fêter cet événement marquant et explorer ces huit décennies de publications, il y a le retour de Marvel Tales, la revue anthologique presque entièrement composée de rééditions qui a connu plus de 290 numéros entre 1966 et 1994.
Un numéro spécial consacré aux 4 Fantastiques inaugurera ces Marvel Tales version 2019 en janvier, avec les rééditions de Fantastic Four #4 et 245 et de l’annual 6.
