Révélé dans les dernières pages de Miracleman #16 publié aujourd’hui, la série reprendra au numéro 1 pour la réédition des premiers numéros supervisés par Neil Gaiman (Sandman) et Mark Buckingham dans les années 90. La série avait alors été interrompue à la moitié du récit qui devait comprendre trois chapitres: The Golden Age, The Silver Age et The Dark Age.
D’après le site Bleedingcool, l’artiste a déjà organisé son emploi du temps pour reprendre la série après avoir conclu la saga Fables.

C’est autrement plus bandant que la pluie de Battleworld qui nous inonde (même s’il y aura peut-être des trucs sympas qui émergeront de ce grand bordel).
Le premier numéro sortira en septembre avec une couverture spéciale réalisée par les artistes Garry Leach, Alan Davis, John Totleben et Rick Veitch, ainsi qu’une couverture variante par Simone Bianchi:
Au moins, on le reconnait de suite, sans même lire le texte de Jack (mais je ne sais pas si j’ai d’abord reconnu la colo, la compo ou le coup de crayon !)

Sur un autre topic, j’évoquais le coté glauque de Moore en comparaison à celui de morrison
Je venais de lire le tome 3 de miracleman. Très très réussi, au point que j’avais été carrement choqué de la représentation des massacres de kid miracleman.
C’était très hardcore.
Lire enfin la suite de miracleman par gaiman, je sais pas, mais y a pour moi comme un graal enfin atteint. C’était totalement mythique ces episodes lorsque j’étais ado. Je crois que cet horizon s’est inscrit en moi à la lecture d’un numéro de scarce, peut être même le premier numéro que j’ai lu (avec warlock en couverture), en tout cas un numéro qui contenait un article sur miracleman. Les comics avec scarce sont devenus à l’époque pour le jeune lecteur que j’étais autre chose que des lectures mais aussi des objets de savoir. Une sorte de palier vers l’adolescence c’est fait pour moi avec la lecture de scarce.
A quoi tient les rites initiatiques d’un lecteur de comics! c’est quelque chose. . Moi ce fut avec scarce. les contributeurs ne devaient pas penser à de telle chose lorsqu’ils pondaient leur article. ^^
Donc enfin cette boucle qui se boucle.
Reste le 2001 de kirby et je serais un homme comblé.
