MOCKINGBIRD #1-8 (Chelsea Cain / Kate Niemczyk)

Il y a beaucoup de chose à dire sur Bobbi Morse a.k.a. Oiseau Moqueur, l’agent du S.H.I.E.L.D., la membre des Vengeurs et même l’ex-petite amie de Oeil-de-Faucon, mais jamais en tant que super-héroïne solitaire. Ce sera maintenant une chose à faire en 2016 lorsque l’éditeur Marvel Comics lancera la première série régulière consacrée à la jeune demoiselle.

Aux manettes, on retrouve la scénariste Chelsea Cain qui s’est déjà échauffée sur le personnage avec l’épisode spécial S.H.I.E.L.D. 50th Anniversary en septembre dernier.
Quant à la partie graphique, la jeune dessinatrice Kate Niemczyk a été engagée en remplacement de Joelle Jones qui signe tout de même la couverture du premier numéro (ci-dessus).

Le premier arc en cinq numéros abordera la récente transformation de Oiseau Moqueur en “super-soldat” lorsque le Nick Fury original lui a transfusé le sérum Infinity pour la sauver d’une mort certaine (évènements survenus dans la série New Avengers). Attendant son bilan de santé hebdomadaire dans un lieu médical spécialisé, Bobbi Morse découvre alors une bien étrange conspiration…

À noter que cette auteure est publiée en **France ** avec la trilogie au Cœur du mal.

En tout cas le dessin de promo promet, et si les promesses sont tenues ça risque de me plaire.
J’ai justement envie de lire une série où une héroïne botte des culs. :wink:

j’aurais dis ex-femme d’oeil de faucon plutôt qu’ex petite amie.

Humm … vu les pages ci-dessus et la couverture signée Joelle Jones, j’aurais préféré et de loin, cette dernière aux dessins de cette série, là ça manque singulièrement de punch. Du moins je trouve.
