Les détails n’ont pas encore été révélés par Marvel, mais voici ce que cachait ce mystérieux projet « MU » : une nouvelle série intitulée Monsters Unleashed, un titre déjà utilisé par l’éditeur dans les années 70 pour sa gamme de magazines d’horreur en grand format et en noir et blanc.

L’éditeur Marvel Comics a levè le voile sur la nouvelle série Monsters Unleashed, inspirée par le collectif du même nom publié dans les années 70.
Imaginée par le scénariste Cullen Bunn, l’histoire de cette mini-série bimensuelle en cinq numéros voit les plus grands monstres de l’univers Marvel tenter de conquérir la Terre pour une raison encore inconnue.
Bien entendu, Devil Dinosaur et le célèbre Groot seront de la partie… Pour sauver le monde ?
Les dessinateurs Steve McNiven, Lenil Yu, Adam Kubert, Salvador Larroca, et Greg Land se chargeront d’illustrer chacun un numéro et c’est McNiven qui ouvre le bal dès janvier 2017.

Moi qui pensais que Marvel allait peut-être développer un secteur « monstres » avec des histoires indépendantes de leur univers principal me voilà bien marri.
