Si l’initiative Rebirth ne semble pas leur avoir fait grande place dans le catalogue de DC Comics, l’équipe créative à l’origine de la Batgirl de Burnside (rendue célèbre sur le net pour son accoutrement) - composée des scénaristes Cameron Stewart & Brenden Fletcher et la dessinatrice Babs Tarr - migre chez Image Comics avec le projet Motor Crush sous le bras.
S’intéressant aux courses illégales de moto, Motor Crush fut conçu à l’origine par Fletcher comme une série animée à destination des jeunes spectateurs. Le projet s’est bien développé depuis et cible un public plus âgé dans sa nouvelle forme.
