On s’était fait avoir il y a quelques semaines en supposant le retour du premier Nova (il s’agissait en fait d’un autre héros), on pense ne pas se tromper cette fois-ci en suggérant qu’il s’agit bien de Richard Rider sur ce nouveau teaser proposé à l’occasion de Marvel Now.
Pour rappel, après avoir mené de nombreuses batailles contre les forces d’Annihilation et du Phalanx, Richard Rider s’est sacrifié pour sauver la Terre lors d’un dernier combat contre l’avatar de la Mort, Thanos, et les créatures du Cancerverse.
Aucune indication concernant le(s) titre(s) impliqué(s) ni l’équipe créative, ni aucune date si ce n’est : « pour bientôt ».
Dan Abnett a effectivement signé un contrat d’exclusivité chez DC Comics. Il ne devrait donc plus travailler chez Marvel dans les mois à venir. Pour Dark Horse, c’est une autre histoire. Il me semble que les contrats d’exclusivités ne concernent généralement que le travail des auteurs chez les « big two ».

C’est officiel, Richard Rider sera bien de retour dans la nouvelle série Nova de Jeff Loveness et Ramon Perez. Son successeur, le jeune Sam Alexander, l’aidera à retrouver sa place dans le monde d’aujourd’hui, d’abord en tant que membre du Nova Corps mais aussi en tant qu’Homme.
