Lors de la convention Image Expo, le Responsable Éditorial Eric Stephenson a dévoilé la mise en chantier de 7 nouveaux titres, en plus de la suite de Phonograme (Gillen, McKelvie) et de Black Kiss (Howard Chaykin), par des équipes créatives ou des artistes reconnus par le média. Il n’a cependant pas voulu révéler quoique ce soit sur les intrigues.
Le scénariste et dessinateur Ken Garing a été engagé par l’éditeur Image Comics pour adapter son propre web-comics en comics papier. Planetoïd raconte les aventures de l’ancien soldat Silas devenu pirate de l’espace et bloqué sur une planète déserte… et hostile. Très.

Le deuxième épisode est disponible depuis cette semaine et c’est de mieux en mieux. Ken Garing est le seul maitre à bord pour nous compter l’histoire de cet ancien soldat, Silas, qui erre dans un monde techno-organique. Les décors sont gigantesques et ce nouvel épisode est tout aussi intrigant que le premier. Une belle surprise en ce qui me concerne, j’avais pris le premier complètement par hasard.
Image Comics est assurément l’éditeur à surveiller semaines après semaines !
