J’ai pré-commandé ça chez mon dealer hier.
Ça a l’air sympa tant au niveau du scénario que du dessin. Je connaissais pas Norton, mais il a l’air bon et en ce qui concerne Seeley, j’avais bien aimé le Hack/Slash publié par Wetta (pas la place ni l’argent d’acheter les omnibus Image). Lorsqu’il part en délire ou qu’il s’adonne à de la série B (ce qui a l’air d’être le cas ici) c’est du tout bon.

Il y a quelques semaines de cela déjà que j’'ai eu la chance de savourer la lecture de ce premier épisode de Revival via le service presse d’Image. Et la lecture de la version papier est toujours aussi intrigante. Seeley s’amuse avec le principe des morts qui reviennent à la vie en posant les bases d’un concept à la fois simple et efficace. Mention aussi du bon taff de Mike Norton et de son coloriste Mark Englert.En tournant la page, on se découvre être définitivement accroché et déjà en attente de la suite. Ne passez pas à côté de ce titre qui va faire du bruit dans les semaines à venir…

J’ai commencé à mettre le nez dans cette série, et c’est pas mal : belle variation sur le thème du zombie, du retour des morts. Et graphiquement, Norton m’épate. J’ai toujours bien aimé, mais j’ai toujours vu son dessin comme une inspiration cartoony de Byrne. Et là, il y a une liberté, une souplesse, qui m’évoque à la fois Derec Aucoin et Eduardo Barreto. C’est très chouette, vraiment.
