[quote]Nope, it gets pretty heavy. I think the book retains its essential tone, but we realize that Jen’s cases don’t always have to be light and fluffy. The stakes start to get fairly high, and we move off on a roller coaster that will take us through the rest of the first year on the title.
The Blue File meta-story doesn’t actually have much as far as courtroom stuff – it’s more about a case that happened a while back, or almost happened. It’s almost more of a detective story, where we learn what happened in that case, why Jen and the other heroes and villains named in the case (people like Wyatt Wingfoot, Tigra, Shocker and many more) can’t remember anything about it.
It’s pretty cool – sort of meta, in a way, which is something I like to do as long as it doesn’t get in the way of the story.[/quote]
