J’allais demander si ça avait été évoqué par quelqu’un, mais je me suis ravisé, et je me suis dit que je ferais mieux de bouquiner les quelques pages de la conversation avant de l’ouvrir…
Car je viens de lire l’épisode « Infinite Comics » (dont je ne suis pas convaincu de la forme, les cases grisées, tout ça, mais bon…), et c’est clair que Dan Slott a trouvé l’occasion de faire son Doctor Who à lui. L’acolyte terrienne, les visites aux civilisations extraterrestres, l’intervention altruiste, la réputation qui précède le héros, les jeux sur son nom, y compris l’humour et les décalages perpetuels…
Et tout cela fait un Silver Surfer assez nouveau, et en même temps complètement raccord avec ce qu’on connaît du personnage.
Surprenant, séduisant, inattendu.
Vraiment pas mal.

Je trouve très intéressant, en prime, le fait que Slott semble vouloir faire de la série un titre un peu plus « collectif », qui casse un peu l’image d’Epinal du Surfer en solitaire éploré.
Englehart en son temps faisait aussi intervenir beaucoup de monde autour du Surfer et j’aimais beaucoup.
