Le premier scénariste, aidé par le dessinateur Paco Diaz, racontera comment l’Agent Venom tente de sauver ce qu’il reste de Manhattan dans une relecture de Spider-Island (The Amazing Spider-Man #666–673) où quasiment toute l’humanité a été transformée en araignées géantes. Pour éviter l’infection, certains grands héros ont dû recourir à des mutations peu orthodoxes, comme par exemple Capwolf et Lizard Hulk.
En deuxième partie, Defalco et Ron Frenz retrouveront leur création, Spider-Girl, l’héroïne de l’univers MC2, pour raconter ce qui est arrivé à sa petite famille depuis les tristes évènements de Spider-Verse jusqu’au début des collisions entre Terres parallèles.
