Il parle ensuite d’un aspect fondamental du personnage,
D’après le site The Wrap, Marvel Studio et Sony auraient dans le viseur cinq jeunes acteurs pour incarner le nouveau Spider-Man, tous entre 18 et 20 ans. Il s’agit de Liam James (Psych), Timothee Chalamet (Interstellar), Tom Holland (The Impossible), Asa Butterfield (Ender’s Game) et Nat Wolff (The Fault In Our Stars).
Il n’est pas surprenant de voir les studios préciser leur choix ces jours-ci puisque le film Captain America: Civil War (dans lequel devrait apparaitre le jeune héros) vient d’entrer en production.
Aux dernières nouvelles, le réalisateur Drew Goddard (anciennement à la tête de l’improbable Sinister Six) est toujours impliqué dans la production de ce nouvel opus des aventures du tisseur qui sortira le 28 juillet 2017 au cinéma.
En aparté, Phil Lord et Chris Miller (Lego, 21 Jump Street) ont été engagés pour produire un film d’animation sur Spider-Man se déroulant dans la nouvelle continuité partagée entre Sony et Marvel Studio. La consécration pour les deux compères puisqu’on a appris il y a peu qu’ils collaboraient sur l’adaptation d’un autre super-héros de la firme concurrente: le véloce The Flash.
Le film d’animation sortira le 20 juillet 2018, soit un an après la sortie du nouveau film qui n’a toujours pas trouvé de titre.
Et puis, il ne faut pas oublier que Marvel et Sony veulent revenir au Spidey des débuts, c’est à dire un Peter Parker ado qui acquiert ses pouvoirs au lycée. Et ça permettra que l’acteur ne soit pas trop vieux au bout de 3 films…perso, j’ai beaucoup aimé Toby Maguire, mais dans le premier Spider-Man, il avait déjà 27 ans…et Andrew Garfield avait 29 balais…
Cela dit on n’est pas obligé non plus de se farcir 1h de film sur les origines (que tout le monde connait maintenant). Les raconter dans le générique devrait suffire et on pourrait arriver directement au plat principal. Enfin, j’espère.

Je l’ai bien aimé dans Hugo Cabret. On le dit favori pour le moment en tout cas (même si ça ne veut rien dire en fait, il y a toujours des surprises de dernière minute).
Il pourrait faire un bon jeune Peter Parker, je trouve…
Le net a vu apparaitre ce jour-ci un document piraté divulguant comment Sony Pictures perçoit/résume Peter Parker et son alter-égo Spider-Man pour le nouveau film co-produit par les Studios Marvel:
C’est officiel : Tom Holland, jeune acteur britannique de 19 ans qui a fait ses débuts au cinéma en 2012 dans The Impossible, est le nouveau Spider-Man !
Le prochain long métrage Spider-Man (pour le moment sans titre) sera réalisé par Jon Watts (Clown, Cop Car).
Pour rappel, le nouveau Peter Parker fera sa première apparition dans le Marvel Cinematique Universe dans Captain America : Civil War.

Sony Pictures will finance and release worldwide the next installment of the $4 billion Spider-Man franchise on July 28, 2017, in a film co-produced by Kevin Feige and his expert team at Marvel and Amy Pascal, who oversaw the franchise launch for the studio 13 years ago. Together, they will collaborate on a new creative direction for the Web-Slinger.
Spider-Man, embraced all over the world, is the most successful franchise in the history of Sony Pictures, with the five films having taken in more than $4 billion worldwide.
Perso, ça me va. Je n’ai pas encore eu l’occasion de le voir dans un film ou une série, mais il paraît que c’est un très bon jeune acteur (il sera prochainement à l’affiche de Au coeur de l’océan avec Chris Thor Hemsworth).
Pour son physique, c’est encore un ado et il évoluera avec les années. C’est ce que voulaient Marvel et Sony, un acteur qui peut « grandir’ » avec le rôle et qui ne soit pas déjà trop vieux au bout de 3 films…
Quand je vois certains commentaires sur le net, je me demande si ces soi-disants fans savent que Peter Parker était mineur quand il est devenu Spider-Man (et puis mince, pour une fois qu’ils ne prennent pas un presque trentenaire pour jouer un lycéen)…
