En voyant ces images, j’ai pensé aux travaux de son père comme Sgt Rock. Ça peut ajouter de la motivation .

Gros bof. Jonathan Hickman lance une saga où un Punisher encore membre d’une unité militaire mais avec ce pseudo et le crâne peint sur le visage participe à une attaque de QG de l’AIM alors que Hydra intervient aussi. Le commando doit récupérer un Cube Cosmique qui a permis de désosser un Super-Adaptoïde mais Hulk arrive et ravage chaque camp. Seul Frank survit et s’enfonce dans la jungle avec le Cube. Clark Quatermain du S.H.I.E.L.D. appelle Spider-Man à l’aide vu la menace de Hulk.
Ouais, trop bof. C’est long, bavard, avoir un Punisher encore commando n’a pas d’intérêt en soi pour moi et l’implication de Spider-Man est inexplicable jusque-là. C’est poseur et heureusement Adam Kubert livre de belles planches, sans forcer mais sans fauter, car ça demeure le seul intérêt de tout ça.
Jolis dessins mais scénario encore très faible.
En voyant les previews, j’ai trouvé cette idée bizarre. Si elle est cool graphiquement, ça m’a fait penser aux griffes de Wolverine dans X-Men/Wildcats : c’est fun, mais aux coïncidences qui ne sont là que pour jouer avec le fan.

J’aime penser que des auteurs ont une réflexion sur ce qu’ils proposent , en dehors du « ça va être cool ». Que tu abordes ce point montre que ça t’a « étonné ».
Ce que je comprends, c’est que le Punisher a toujours existé, comme ce que raconte la « récente » mini de Jason Aaron . Du coup, le drame qu’à vécu le personnage lui a permis de mettre au grand jour sa volonté d’incarner la mort (obsession présente bien avant la perte de sa famille donc). Ça change un peu la perception que j’ai du personnage et les intentions initiales quelque part…
C’est une sorte de Ghost Rider ?
Mmmm… Oui, sauf que la Ghost Punisher ^^ est l’incarnation de la vengeance. Le Punisher, sous Aaron, et ici aussi, est l’incarnation de la guerre.
Et la différence entre les 2 est significative à mes yeux :
La première est dictée par le désespoir, la seconde par la violence.
Je parlais en terme d’entité qui a un hôte à travers les âges, pardon.
Bah non. Les Ghost Rider ont des hôtes différents. Là,.c’est toujours Castle.

Bah, il est bien fou dans la serie d aaron, il tue gamin, etc
