Le scénariste Christos Gage (Buffy, Superior Spider-Man), ami et fréquent collaborateur de Dan Slott, se chargera de la première partie de la mini-série Spider-Verse team-up tandis que la deuxième partie sera réalisée par une équipe différente à chaque numéro.
Comme le suggère le nom, la série fera se rencontrer les « Spider-Men » venus d’horizons très différents à l’occasion de l’évènement Spider-Verse. Sont déjà annoncés: Miles Morales, Old Man Spidey, Spider-Ham et May « Mayday » Parker (par Tom Defalco !).
