Je n’avais pas vu passer l’info par ici…
Hier sont sorties des versions « Director’s cut » des comics Star Wars 1 et Darth Vader 1.

Ces versions comportent, outre le comics, le script et des planches en cours d’élaboration (des planches encrées, mais avant colorisation et ajout des textes).

De ce que j’ai compris, ce serait plutôt une version augmentée (la même chose que la version standard, mais avec les bonus que j’ai indiqués).
L’annonce (qui date d’il y a un mois) était ici.
Et on n’y parle pas de scènes modifiées ou ajoutées.

C’est une pratique qui fait son chemin chez les éditeurs depuis quelques temps, que ce soit DC avec Superman unchained #1, Pax Americana, The wake #1, etc… ou même chez les petits éditeurs. Comme les versions Pen & ink de Day men chez Boom par exemple, ou la mini-série Frankenstein dont le nom m’échappe de Steve Niles et Bernie Wrightson chez IDW.

Généralement, c’est un reprint de l’épisode entier avec les planches crayonnées (ou encrées), avec des annotations de script voire le script complet dans le cas de Pax Americana, des recherches de couleur, des esquisses.

Ce n’est pas étonnant de voir Marvel emboîter le pas avec Star Wars, même si l’intérêt est moindre de mon point de vue, du fait que ça concerne des dessinateurs comme Cassaday ou Larroca.

Dommage de n’avoir pas mis le texte uniquement dans l’alphabet Aurebesh, quitte à mettre la transcription en alphabet latin plus bas.
D’ailleurs, je me demande si la VF mettra une VF de ce texte ou se contentera de traduire la version en alphabet latin (je pense malheureusement que ce sera la deuxième solution qui sera adoptée).
