Ayant fait le tour du personnage avec sa trilogie Carnage (Carnage, Carnage U.S.A., Minimum Carnage), Zeb Wells laisse sa place au scénariste de télévision Kevin Shinick (Robot Chicken) qui avait surpris la critique avec son premier travail sur la série Avenging Spider-Man.
Shinick s’associe au dessinateur Stephen Segovia pour raconter comment un Cletus Cassidy lobotomisé devient un agent du chaos pour le compte du Sorcier.
Sortie du premier numéro en juillet avec une couverture de Clayton Crain.
Autant que Tsouin … Carnage, ça n’a jamais été un personnage qui m’a attiré … Du coup, hormis ses quelques apparitions dans des numéros du tisseur, j’ai rien lu de lui où il était invité ou principal.
Moi. Parce que le diptyque Avenging Spider-man avec Deadpool scénarisé par Shinick (avec Aaron Kuder) était très chouette. Parce que malgré Segovia, le pitch pique ma curiosité.
Et parce que c’est édité par le RE Stephen Wacker qui se révèle être un très bon manager d’histoires, pas envahissant mais très intéressé par la ligne de conduite et la qualité de ses titres.
Je suis très surpris de voir le sorcier qui depuis quelques années semble se refaire une petite jeunesse on l’a vu chez Hulk si ma mémoire est bonne chez les FF bien sur, bref ça fait plaisir de revoir ce perso.
