Le prolifique scénariste Charles Soule cède sa place à Peter Tomasi (Batman & Robin) et la partie graphique sera dorénavant assurée par Doug Mahnke (Green Lantern, Justice League).

Je n’ai lu pour l’instant que le premier épisode, mais c’est vraiment super. On est enfin débarrassé des mièvreries adolescentes que nous assénait Soule, et en échange on obtient une caractérisation forte à coup de clins d’œil bien vus : le coup de la machine à écrire, c’est tellement bon. La scène du taxi est excellente aussi. Vraiment, premier épisode grandement inspiré.

There’s nothing interesting about reading a book where Superman and Wonder Woman are lovey-dovey twenty-four seven. You’ve got to start to show that there’s problems, there’s bumps in the road, and that makes for good drama.
It’s kind of like Cheers in a way – when Sam and Diane got together, the show ends. All that dramatic tension and all that comedic tension too dissipates once you put the two together. So it’s the kind of thing where they’re together but I’ve got to keep some dramatic tension in the relationship.[/quote]
