Jason Aaron fera officiellement ses débuts dans l’univers des tortues ninjas au mois de juin au sommaire du numéro spécial Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Alpha #1 avec une histoire de 10 pages.
En juillet 2024, le scénariste lancera la nouvelle série mensuelle Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles avec quatre noms reconnus de l’industrie pour l’épauler au dessin: Joëlle Jones, Rafael Albuquerque, Cliff Chiang et Chris Burnham.
Les quatre premiers numéros de cette nouvelle série mettront successivement l’accent sur l’un des quatre frères tortues, chaque artiste ayant choisi lui-même le numéro à illustrer en fonction de son personnage favori: Joëlle Jones démarrera la série avec Raphael, Rafael Albuquerque suivra pour Michelangelo, Cliff Chiang dessinera celui consacré à Leonardo tandis que Chris Burnham s’occupera de Donatello. Rafael Albuquerque prendra ensuite en charge les dessins du deuxième arc.
