A partir de 2017, le label jeunesse KaBoom! publiera sur le sol américain les deux volumes de The Deep par Tom Taylor (Injustice, All-New Wolverine) et James Brouwer (Justice League Beyond) sous la forme de deux mini-séries.
The Deep raconte les aventures de la famille Nekton, explorateurs des profondeurs depuis de nombreuses générations. Mais leur quotidien est vite remis en question lorsqu’un tremblement de terre libère d’étranges monstres marins.
Notons que les deux albums ont donné naissance à une série animée diffusée sur la chaine australienne 7TWO.
